Congregation, 2021

A film documenting an online performance as part of Mycelia Magazine's Launch of Issue 4.

Through an editorial mentorship my text ‘Congregation’ was published in Mycelia. The text is an auto-narrative retelling an eerie experience of cruising at night. This performance, tailored specifically for Zoom, performed the text in ways through animated and textural moving image, movement, feedback interferences and direct text extracts. The original fuller text probes the opinions and actions of the opposing gendered figure of Mother Nature in relation to cruising.
